Newsletter April 2026

Our first newsletter has been released, featuring highlights of our latest projects and key updates on the Wonderland platform

A key focus of the newsletter is Copernicus Technologies smart camera trap system, which combines IoT and machine learning to automatically detect and classify wildlife in real time. Images are sent via LTE to the Wonderland platform, where they are processed instantly, significantly reducing the need for manual data handling. Built for harsh and remote environments, the devices support long-term deployment with battery life of up to two years. The newsletter also features the company’s sponsorship of a movement ecology workshop in Switzerland, which promotes research into advanced animal tracking techniques. In addition, it highlights ongoing landslide monitoring projects in Flums, where IoT sensors are used to detect ground movement and strengthen early warning systems.
