Ear tags are a widely used solution for monitoring juvenile and adult ungulates, particularly dairy cows, wild boar, and feral pigs. They are easy and safe to apply and can provide valuable activity and location data
The device enables monitoring of movement patterns such as migration and space use across a wide range of species, as well as grazing behavior in livestock. It is also suitable for studying dispersal in juveniles
The device is applied to the ear just like any other ear tag used in livestock management
Our LoRaWAN GPS ear tag is now available. Please feel free to contact us for further information. You may also be interested in the product leaflet.
A wearable sensor for precision livestock farming, equipped with an accelerometer and gyroscope for behavioral monitoring
The device is attached to the ear in the same way as standard livestock ear tags and is suitable for both intensive and extensive farming systems.
Example dataset: one-week deployment comprising approximately 40,000 records (one GPS position and accelerometer averages every 20 seconds).
For further information on the accelerometer features, please feel free to contact us.

Wonderland integrates with all of our tracking devices and sensors. We also support many 3rd party devivces. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have specific needs in this regard.
Yes, Wonderland is free for a limited number of devices on your account. If you exceed that number, we'll ask you to get a yearly subscription (Prototype, Professional or Enterprise), which will allow you to use unlimited devices on our platform.
Yes. Please get in touch with us so we can schedule a call to clarify your needs and provide a formal quote. We'll support you in finding the right device for your application.
We're usually using LoRaWAN to receive data from our the devices over-the-air. Some devices record large amounts of data, which is typically downloaded from an SD card which is built-in to the device.
There are free LoRaWAN networks and servers available (The Things Network, ChirpStack etc.). If you need a professional full-stack solution, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can supply you with all required network components.
That very much depends on the environmental conditions and the device configuration. Typically our devices run for months to years on a primary battery. Solar-powered devices may run many years. In very data-intensive use cases (high-frequency IMU acquisition, high-frequency augmented GPS), runtime can be reduced to weeks.
We have hands-on experience with monitoring projects and support our partners in deploying devices and gateways in the field.
